About Frank
 
For 20 years, Positive Impact Corporation, led by CEO, Frank LaFauci, CPA, helped make financial executives and operations managers more productive by providing them with new insights, ideas, business tools and technologies. By helping these executives get a clear view of their operating results and by providing enhanced forecasting and what-if analyses, their companies became more profitable and successful. The insights Frank shared with his clients along the way were very helpful in initiating positive changes to these organizations' business processes and programs.

For Positive Impact Corporation internally, Frank designed and developed the firm's:

Operationally, Frank also:

  • managed the firm's daily operations
  • prepared and negotiated client contracts
  • generated the software implementation details
  • coordinated the efforts of internal staff members with clients' needs
  • analyzed the technical staff's recommendations for new internal and external technologies
  • developed innovative ways of procuring new clients and improving services to existing clients
  • negotiated the ultimate sale of Positive Impact Corporation while arranging to retain the company's name.

From a financial perspective, Frank performed the following functions:

  • generated the firm's internal financial statements
  • prepared budgets used to guide the company's direction and marketing efforts
  • reviewed operating results with management staff
  • drafted employee contracts
  • managed the firm's Human Resources
  • oversaw the staff's CBIA Health Insurance Plan

In the field, Frank often helped his clients raise funds, sometimes from "angel investors".  Operationally, he helped them become more efficient and profitable utilizing the MAS 200 ERP and Wholesale Distribution software (the pre-packaged applications that Positive Impact installed at their firms). He assisted his clients with other productivity tools, such as F9, a tool that links the general ledger to MS Excel. During the software implementations, Frank's distinctive combination of financial, technical and operations skills were utilized when he designed solutions to complex business problems. Multitasking and communications skills were crucial assets for Frank as he managed multiple client projects simultaneously.

Prior to Positive Impact Corporation, Frank held corporate positions as:

  • Director of Finance at the NY Post
  • Financial Reporting Manager at Stone and Webster Management Consultants
  • Accounting Manager at Paine Webber
  • Senior Auditor at Grant Thornton

Frank LaFauci Memberships:

  • Board of Directors - Treasurer: CACLD (The Connecticut Association for Children and Adults with Learning Disabilities)
  • AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants)

Frank received his undergraduate degree at St. Francis College, with a major in Accounting and a minor in Computer Science.  He received an MBA in Finance at Pace University in 1984.
